Vineet Maheshwari is the Chief Audit Officer of the company.

He is responsible for overseeing operational, financial, and compliance audits. Vineet ensures that the Audit Committee and top management receive reasonable assurance regarding the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s risk management and internal control framework.

Since joining PNB MetLife in 2015, Vineet has held various roles. As the former Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Information Technology Officer, he co-created enterprise strategy, led business performance and market intelligence, and executed strategic cross-functional initiatives. He also spearheaded innovation and experimentation in collaboration with new-age start-ups, managed the Data Science and Analytics function, and directed technology initiatives, including digital strategy, technology operations, and governance, with a strong focus on cybersecurity. Additionally, Vineet has served as the Chief of Staff to the CEO.

Vineet brings over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry, working across diverse geographies such as Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. He has a keen focus on transforming ideas into results and driving value and growth for the organization.

Vineet is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce. He also has a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Texas at Austin.
