PNB MetLife Social Media Contest

We thank you for participating in the weekly social media contest conducted by PNB MetLife Insurance Company (“Company”). As a part of signing up for the Contest, please go through the “Terms and Conditions” as these are applicable to all participants. In addition to the contest rules, by participating in the Contest, it is implied that you fully and completely accept all the terms and you will follow all the below mentioned terms and conditions.

1. The contest is valid only for Indian citizens residing in India. The Contest will be held on Friday, 3rd February 2023, and all entries received till Monday 6th February 2023 will be considered, any entries made outside this time will not be considered to be valid. 5 winners will be announced on Tuesday 7th January 2023 through a post on Instagram and Facebook.
   • 1st Contest was held between Friday 20th January 2023 to Monday 23rd January 2023 with winners announced on 24th January 2023.
2. The Lucky winners on PNB MetLife Facebook and Instagram handles will stand a chance to win an Amazon Voucher worth Rs.500.
3. This contest is being held by the Company on social media platforms (i.e. Facebook and Instagram).
4. To be eligible to participate in the Contest and to win the Prize, you are required to do a few things. Here’s what you need to do:
   • Follow us @PNBMetLife on Facebook and/ or @pnb_metlife on Instagram
   • Like the post
   • Solve the jumbled words and share the answers in the comments of the contest post.
   • Tag 3 of your friends in the comments.
   The winners will be selected on a random basis from the participants who meet all the above criteria.
5. The Company shall have its own process and in its sole discretion decide on the Winners. The names of the winners will be announced within 7 days after the contest ends. The selection of winners lies solely with the Company. Selection of the winners and the voucher amount is final, conclusive and binding. No further appeal, inquiry and/or correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. In case of disputes, the Company’s decision is final. In case of any disputes arising out of the Amazon Vouchers/prize given to the winner, the Company shall not be held liable. The Winner has to directly communicate with the issuing Authority of the Vouchers/prize and resolve the same. Further the terms and conditions of Amazon Vouchers/Prize shall apply for utilization of the said Amazon Voucher/Prize.
6. While multiple entries are allowed, each participant shall participate only once on any one social media platform. Further any participant cannot win more than 1(one) Amazon Voucher/Prize.
7. The participants need to share the below mentioned details as per the account held by the participant in any one of the Social Media Platform with the company to avail a special gift:
   • Contact No.
   • Email Address
   • Copy of your valid ID card
8. The Winners shall be selected by the Company and announced after the contest ends. The winners of the contest will be contacted on the respective platform.
9. Intimation that a participant is a Winner of the Contest hosted by the Company will be sent by the Company via email or telephonically or by such mode of delivery as the Company considers appropriate and at such time as deemed proper by the Company.
10. Selection of the winners is final, conclusive and binding and no further appeal, enquiry and/or correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
11. The Company shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of the Contest.
12. Any entries found to be defamatory, illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, harmful or unfit according to the Company will not be considered as a valid entry and may be removed from the page without giving any notice/intimation to the participant and at the sole discretion of the Company.
13. There is no alternative for the Prize and the same cannot be exchanged for cash at any point nor transferred to any other person or any third party. Failure to accept prize by the Winner(s) within 5 days when required to do so shall constitute a rejection by such Winner(s) and the Company reserves its rights towards the prize to another winner without any notice/intimating the erstwhile winner of the same. The Company reserves the right to substitute the Prize offered at any point of time. The Company shall not be held liable by the erstwhile winner on failure to accept the Voucher/Prize money within the stipulated time as mentioned above.
14. The Company reserves the right to extend, cancel, discontinue, withdraw, change, alter or modify before or during the terms and conditions of the Contest, at its sole discretion, without any notice/intimation at any time during the validity of the Contest. No correspondence will be shared in this regard to the participants.
15. The Company reserves its rights to publish or display materials or information, including but not limited to the names and photographs of all participants for marketing, advertising and publicity purposes in any manner it deems appropriate. The Company further reserves its right to use any personal data of participants for the purpose to communicate about the Company’s products and a participant is deemed to consent to such use with no monetary payment to be made by the Company to any participant in this regard. By participating in this Contest, you give the Company consent to use the personal data for sharing information about the company and its products.
16. The Contest is subject to force majeure conditions.
17. All warranties of any kind whatsoever, whether expressed or implied are hereby expressly disclaimed by the Company including, but not limited to the delivery, quality, quantity, merchantability, fitness for use or non-infringement in respect of any goods, services, emoluments, benefits or awards acquired or obtained through the Contest.
18. All disputes shall be governed by the laws of India and the courts of Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
19. The Company shall not be responsible for any disruption to the application of the participants, caused due to technical problems or otherwise, which are beyond its reasonable control.
20. These terms and conditions shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional or advertising materials. Due to unforeseen circumstances the terms and conditions can be altered if need be with and/or without any intimation of such change in the terms and conditions.
21. The Company shall make all reasonable arrangements to minimize any errors caused by the system, due to which the participant is unable to participate. However, under no circumstance shall the Company be held liable for the same due to failure of the telecom operator, internet service provider, facility provider, social media platform, etc.
22. The Company is not responsible for not being able to contact the winner due to unavoidable issues. In such a scenario, the Company reserves the right to select another winner immediately. Participants in the contest understand and agree that in order to offer the contest; the Company must collect and use personal information about participants. This contest is conducted under the terms of applicable privacy statements.
23. The participant agrees to unconditionally and irrevocably indemnify and holds harmless the Company against all losses, damages, any other liabilities that the Company may suffer on account of any submission made by the participant or with reference to any claim of the voucher made by the participant during the Contest under the above mentioned terms and conditions.
24. If a participant contravenes the above-mentioned terms and conditions, the participant may, in the Company’s discretion, be disqualified from the contest.
