Madhya Pradesh, 22 August 2025: In a heartwarming initiative combining sustainability with social impact, PNB MetLife is distributing 350 school bags crafted from repurposed hoardings used during the GAIN campaign to students of Turia Government High School, Seoni district, Madhya Pradesh. The activity is being conducted in collaboration with Kohka Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting tribal and underprivileged communities in India.

As part of this unique initiative, PNB MetLife has transformed over 32,000 sq. ft. of campaign flex into durable, eco-friendly school bags, demonstrating its commitment to circular economic principles while giving back to the community. These bags will be handed over to students from Classes 5 to 12 during a dedicated event at the school on July 25, 2025.

Each child will receive a thoughtfully curated kit that includes a repurposed flex school bag, a notebook to support their learning, a stationery kit with essential school supplies, and a customized bag tag to add a personal touch to their new school gear.

Speaking on the event, Sourabh Lohtia, Chief Marketing & Communication Officer said, “This initiative represents more than just upcycling it embodies our belief that every child deserves access to tools that support their educational journey. By creatively repurposing our marketing material, we aim to inspire change that is both environmental and impactful.”
