Shimla, 20^th April 2024 - PNB MetLife is spearheading insurance awareness initiatives in Himachal Pradesh in collaboration with the State Government and regulator.

Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) appointed PNB MetLife as the lead insurer for the region’s State Insurance Plan. At the grassroots level, PNB MetLife’s pivotal initiatives such as Bima Shivirs (customer camps) have facilitated direct customer engagement and helped highlight the necessity and benefits of insurance while addressing questions from potential customers.

Through these various engagement drives and activities tailored to meet the unique needs of the local communities, PNB MetLife is actively raising awareness about insurance. These efforts support the government’s drive to enhance insurance adoption in Himachal Pradesh, aligning with IRDAI’s vision of ‘Insurance for All by 2047’.

Embracing a multifaceted approach, PNB MetLife strategically used social media, print advertisements, cable TV, and out-of-home advertising to communicate the importance of insurance in securing financial futures. Targeting tier 2 and 3 cities and towns, this outreach helped touch diverse demographic groups.

Focusing on key districts such as Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla, and Una, PNB MetLife’s cable TV ads promoting insurance awareness amplified the reach of its awareness efforts. Additionally, a targeted digital campaign across social media platforms helped garner 9 million impressions in the state.
