Shashikant Wavhal joined PNB MetLife in 2011. He has over two decades of experience in the areas of Fund Management and Equity Research. Apart from managing large cap, multi-cap and small-cap funds, he covers sectors such as Consumer, Pharmaceuticals and Insurance. He also leads the Alternative Investments for PNB MetLife.
Prior to joining PNB MetLife, Shashikant worked with Caledonia Investments (UK) covering their India-listed equity investments.
Shashikant is a Chemical Engineer from UDCT, Mumbai, holder of PG Diploma in Business Management from IIM, Lucknow and a Charter holder from CFA Institute (USA). Currently he is pursuing actuarial credentials. He has also authored a non-fiction book named ‘Relax! The World Makes Sense!’
